Think people!

People have things

But still want more

One reason why

We neglect the poor

Forget who we are

And what we’re fighting for

Spending our time with meaningless war

Misunderstood

Stranded in the hood

It’s not their fault we can’t see their good

We judge them from the start

Make them all fall apart

Make them blame each other

Instead of being there for one another

Turn their backs, both left and right

Rather than coming together…

And FIGHT!

 So “Forget the poor”

This is our reason,

This is what we say

We forget about the others

But every night we pray

“Oh dear lord, make me rich a healthy

Nah scratch that,

Just make me wealthy”

I know it looks bad

Believe me

Could be worse

It’s their everyday life

Sounds like a curse?

You may think they have nothing

And no hope in their souls

But somehow their happier

With a life without gold

So think about that the next time you fight

Think about everything that’s wrong and right

Think about the choices you've made today
